Jaxx is owned by Brett and
Kathy Barker. Jaxx is unique in the sense that all training and titles were
completed by Brett. This makes Jaxx, what is known as a H.O.T. dog
(handler, owner, trained). His tracking is methodical. His obedience is crisp and focused.
Protection is high energy and packs a punch felt from the sidelines.
17
months Jaxx completed his Bh, the basic obedience phase of Schutzhund.
2 ½
years Jaxx trialed again under Arnold Jakobtorweihen and completed
Schutzhund I. Jaxx received an additional distinction of pronounced courage
and fight drive. This would be a repeated award for his next two titles as
well. Tracking 82, Obedience 82, Protection 90.
3
years Jaxx completed SchH II under Jim Elder. Tracking 73, Obedience
80, Protection 94.
3 ½
years SchH III is completed, again with Arnold Jakobtorweihen. Jaxx also
qualifies to compete in the United Schutzhund Clubs of America, Schutzhund 3
and Police Dog Nationals for 2003. Jaxx started his SchH III trial by
scoring a perfect 100 points in tracking. Obedience 80, Protection 94.
Jaxx was unable to
continue preparing for the 2003 Nationals due to an injury but went on to
complete his FH title. Brett and Jaxx will be training for PSA. He has made an easy transition from a sleeve to a bite suit.

Axel
Northwoods Salix Son
9/11/04-3/1/06
|
Axel was owned,
trained and handled by Officer Darren Steele of the Sterling Heights Police
Department in Michigan. He was a beautiful dog, strong in defense and very
loyal and social with his family. He certified and began working on the
street at 17 months of age. Preliminary hip x-rays were excellent. Axel passed away at a far too young of an age.
He is missed by many. Officer Steele has agreed to take a puppy from the
Aaron X Willow litter in 2006, but the new puppy will never replace
Axel in our hearts. Darren is currently handling Blitz from the B-litter. |

USPCA Patrol, Narcotics &
Tracking Certified
3rd PLACE - USPCA
Regional - Michigan 2008
|
Atlas is owned, handled and trained by Officer Lee Heighton
in Port Huron, MI. He is a very balanced dog: strong in both prey and
defense drives. He is also very social. Preliminary hip x-rays were very
good. Atlas certified at 17 months of age and is now an active K9 with the
department.
September 2008 - Atlas took 3rd
out of 26 dogs at the USPCA Regional in MI. He, along with Blitz & Brandy
(both from the B-litter) dominated the first 3 placings.
August 2006 - Officer Heighton informed me that he and Atlas have been asked to
be one of 4 dogs representing the state of Michigan at the USPCA National
Competition. Unfortunately, he was unable to attend.
July 2006 (22 months) - Atlas competed at
the Regional USPCA regional certification. He received his PD1 certification
and placed 7th out of 20 dogs at only 22 months of age.
Atlas has already obtained his first search and seizure and has been
